Title: IT Project Manager – Waterfall Methodology
Location: Las Vegas, NV (89169) – Hybrid
Contract Duration: 6+ Months Contract to Hire (W2 Contract, no C2C or sponsorship available)
Overview:
We are seeking an IT Project Manager with expertise in Waterfall methodology to lead software integration projects, focusing on back-office solutions like Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. The ideal candidate excels in structured project management, software implementation lifecycles, and delivering on time and within scope.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage IT projects, including software integrations and system upgrades.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and Gantt charts using Waterfall methodology.
- Oversee complex software integrations to ensure seamless functionality.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align goals and priorities.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal teams for successful project delivery.
- Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain project documentation.
- Work across IT, HR, and operations teams to ensure project success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing projects with Waterfall methodology and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong background in large-scale software integration projects and HCM systems.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex ideas to stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Project, Sensei IQ, and collaboration platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors effectively.
